Be a Museum Volunteer
Can we tempt you to experience 'hands-on' running of a museum?
We are always looking for volunteers to join our group of stewards who staff the museum on a rota basis. You would decide what time you could give to us - it could be as little as one day a month if that's all the time you have to spare. You will be trained on site and you do not need to be a member of the Dereham Antiquarian Society. All we ask is that you are over 16 and there is no upper age limit (although there is three sets of steep stairs in the museum to be negotiated!) Join the Archive Team
Would you like to become a member of our volunteer archive team, working with historic artifacts and documents?
A group of us meet Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings at our archives to record and conserve our Dereham related documents and artifacts. Again, you do not need to be a member of the Society and no specialist knowledge or formal training is required - all we require is your enthusiasm!
