Bishop Bonner's Cottage Museum - Dereham

Disabled access
The nature of this old building, with its winding, narrow and steep staircases and uneven floors, makes access to the first floor difficult.

Bishop Bonner’s Cottage Museum was opened on 4 May for the 2019 season by Hilary Bushell, the Mayor of Dereham. Thank you to all those who visited the museum: it was a great start to the year. Jonathan Boston the President of the Dereham Heritage Trust gave those present a personal recollection of the last person to have lived in the cottage, Jack Allison, known to many in the town as ‘One Armed Jack’, a veteran of World War One. We will be putting a video of this on the Trust’s website in the next few days.
